The UC342-M Austin is one of the newest chairs of UltraComfort from the Explorer Collection. This is a nice lift chair at an affordable price. The Austin is a three-position chair with heat and vibrating massage function, simply turn it on and enjoy the enhanced relaxation experience. It is available in medium size and comes in two standard fabrics. Every UltraComfort lift and recline chair features an easy-to-use battery backup system in the electrical transformer, which operates on two 9-volt batteries. In the event of a power failure, the battery system will raise the chair from the reclined to the seated position one time. The UC342-M Austin is suitable for people 5'3" - 5'11" tall and up to 375 pounds.

In the event of a power failure, the battery system will raise the chair from the reclined to the seated position. The batteries should be replaced after one use just to be safe.
